About Maharashtra Knowledge Center Ltd Unlisted Share

Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited (MKCL) was established by the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra (GoM) under the Companies Act, 1956. Since its inception in April 2002, MKCL has become a high-tech initiative focused on developing and delivering innovative eLearning, eGovernance, and empowerment solutions. Operating across Maharashtra, one of India’s most industrialized states, MKCL has served millions of customers, including public institutions, universities, governments, and communities.

In 2018, the coordination of MKCL’s affairs was transferred to the General Administration Department (GAD) of the Government of Maharashtra, which oversees its operations through the Directorate of Information Technology.
